Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie KIDS features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Annie Kids is open to students entering Kindergarten - 3rd Grade in the Fall of 2024. Shine Bright workshop productions are the real deal! Students will audition for, rehearse, and perform a high-quality, workshop-style show. Our workshop productions are extremely education-focused and provide a wonderful opportunity for younger students to learn exactly what it takes to put on a musical. Throughout the rehearsal process, students will gain a solid foundation in the fundamentals of theatre while learning a full-licensed show! Students will perform the full-show at the end of the rehearsal process with minimal props and costumes. In order to audition for a mainstage production, students must be registered first. All registered students will be cast in the show!

Audition, Callback, and Rehearsal Location: 720 Crown Point Cross Rd, Winter Garden FL, 34787
Performance Location: TBA

Auditions: Wednesday, August 14th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Students will be required to perform 16 - 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Students must provide an accompaniment track. Acapella auditions will not be permitted. A link to sign up for auditions is included in the confirmation email sent upon completing your student’s registration.

Parent Meeting: Wednesday, August 21st at 4:00 pm
This parent meeting is mandatory.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm starting Wednesday, August 21st. All rehearsal dates are as follows:
August 21st and 28th
September 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th
October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th
November 6th and 13th

Tech Week: All tech rehearsals are mandatory!
November 18th - 23rd - Schedule TBA

Performances: November 21st and 22nd - Location TBA

REFUND POLICY:

Cancelled tuitions paid in full are subject to the following refund deadlines:

• Full refunds available through July 21st at 11:59 pm.

• Refunds equal to one half of tuition are available from July 22nd - August 1st at 11:59 pm.

• Tuition is no longer refundable from August 2nd through the end of the production.

Cancelled payment plans are subject to the following refund deadlines:

• Payment plans may be cancelled, and any completed installments will be refunded through July 21st at 11:59 pm.

• Payment plans may be cancelled, and any installments over half of the total tuition fee will be refunded from July 22nd - August 1st at 11:59 pm. Payment plans cancelled during this period that have not completed half of their payments, will be required to complete payments until half of the total tuition cost has been paid.

• Payment plans can no longer be cancelled from August 2nd through the end of the production. Those who wish to withdraw from the production between August 2nd and the final performance will be required to complete all installments in their payment plan.
